The Best Camera to Get an Aspiring Photographer

A common question from those who either want to buy their first serious camera or make the switch to a digital SLR is which camera should I go for? Up until recently, that question has been a difficult one. There's the Nikon D3100, or one of the new Sony DSLRs. The Canon Eos series were always good but with the Eos Rebel T2i, Canon really have got the entry level sector nailed.

The Rebel T2i isn't cheap. For your money though, you get a beautifully designed camera that is packed full of features.

Since the release of the T1i, resolution has jumped to a whopping 18 mega pixels. The CMOS sensor is a fantastic piece of kit that gives heart-stopping performance at seemingly any light level. In fact, the CMOS sensor utilises very similar technology to what is used in Canon's top end professional cameras. The CMOS sensor works gloriously well with the Canon Digic 4 Image Processor. The images produced are wonderfully rich and noise-free.

A fantastic feature for families especially is the ability to shoot movies in full high definition. Of course, all of the HD movies can be shot through the full selection of Canon lenses including image stabilising lenses and macro lenses. The possibilities are literally endless and limited only by your imagination.

The Eos Rebel T2i also features a 3"LCD monitor that shows off your shots in incredibly clear detail. Even after hours of testing outside in the rain, the screen retains it's brilliance and sheds rainwater with its water resistant coating. Even in the brightest sunlight, the images displayed are still sharp and easy to see.

The control system has been completely overhauled from that which featured on the T1i. The "Quick Control Screen" makes changing settings such as ISO, exposure, focus points, image quality and countless others quick and easy. Amazingly the Rebel T2i is capable of shooting 34 full resolution JPEG images at a rate of 3.7 frames per second. You will never miss that perfect shot again.

The Eos Rebel will totally alter your photography and have you thinking like a professional photographer. Another feature of the T2i is the range of storage media it accepts. SDXC memory cards can of course be used, as can the new Eye-Fi SD cards. If you haven't yet heard of Eye-Fi, it is basically an SD memory card that contains a small WIFI transmitter for transferring images over a wireless network. Another example of how hard Canon have worked at future proofing the Eos Rebel T2i.

On the topic of expansion, the Eos Rebel T2i really is a camera that you will use and treasure for life. It is compatible with the full range of Canon EF and EF-S lenses. Every conceivable type of lens is featured in this award-winning range - from ultrawide angle, to image stabilizing, super telephoto to macro. Whatever extra lenses you choose, the Eos Rebel T2i provides the perfect base from which to build your collection.

The camera comes complete with lens, battery pack, charger and more software than you shake a stick at! All that you need to do is order one and start taking beautiful pictures today!
